CarPIQ complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. We collect only the data strictly necessary for the operation of the service.
Data collected
When you use CarPIQ, we collect: (1) the answers you provide to the questionnaires (budget, mileage, etc.) — stored only in your browser, never on our servers without your consent; (2) your email address if you create an account; (3) anonymous browsing statistics (pages visited, duration).
No data resale
CarPIQ does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. No targeted advertising. No retargeting.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your personal data. To exercise these rights: contact@carpiq.eu.
Retention period
Messages sent via the contact form are kept for a maximum of 24 months. Inactive user accounts are deleted after 36 months without login.

Nature of the service
CarPIQ provides an estimate of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of a vehicle for indicative purposes. Results are based on public sources and assumptions detailed in the methodology. They do not constitute personalised financial or purchase advice.
Limitation of liability
CarPIQ cannot be held liable for purchase decisions made based on the analyses provided. Prices, taxes and costs change: it is the user’s responsibility to verify data against primary sources before any financial commitment.
Acceptable conduct
Automated access (scraping, bots) to the site is prohibited without prior authorisation. Attempts to overload, intrude or hijack will result in immediate blocking.
